- I used to make Stained Glass panels and lampshades at my familys Stained Glass Centre at Scarborough, but now I make glass beads with a difference. From customers Cats and dogs to puffins, aliens, fish and pretty much anything that takes my fancy.
I started making glass beads to use in my own jewellery designs, but then other jewellery designers started ordering my beads too and now I make more beads than jewellery. All of my beads are unique and one of a kind. I do take comissions to make bespoke beads for designers, but what I love more than anything is to sit and melt glass into whatever creatures,critters or monsters pop into my head. I am a HUGE sci-fi fan. I think it has affected my work slightly....what do you guys think;)

- Red Hot Chilli Peppers,Pearl Jam, MCR, Foo Fighters, Muse, Fall out boy. Yep I'm a rocker:D.

- I'm a HUGE Sci-Fi fan, so Star wars and Star Trek should go without saying, oh and Aliens. Oh and I can't wait for the Red Dwarf film to get made. I lurves Red Dwarf:D!

- The fifth Element, Matrix, Mystery Men, Withnail and I(just love the line 'please help us,we've come on holiday by mistake!', Indiana jones. Wow I could keep going all day.

Phew have I been a busy beader!
Yep I am worn out! Sorry for not Hobnobbin much lately, but the xmas rush seems to have started early for me. Not only have I been busy making my usual Critters for people, but my 'ordinary' beads are selling very well too.
So has anyone got any idea where I can find an extra day in the week? I could sure do with one. Not that I am unhappy about been busy, in fact I am extatic about it! The road to a successful bead making business it a pretty rough one I can tell you and it feels grea…

Oh yes I'm Hobnobbin now!
A big thanks to Jen for creating a safe place for us to share our lives.
I am luvin this new space and hope to share not just my new creations with you, but things about me, my life, things I create that are non-glass related (shocking I know,hangs head in shame) and maybe even tell you about other artists I admire that you may or may not have heard of before.
