I love the sounds of the woodwind flutes. One of my favorite recordings, which I am unable to identify, is a cassette I purchased many years ago from a group of NYC Subway musicians from Peru. It is fabulous traditional Andean music with mystical sounds of the Quena flute, Sampona (there should be a tilde over the N) pan flute as well as the stringed Charango. Well, your recording reminded me of that and reminded me that I have gotten stuck in the groove of commercial music and should go back to exploring the offerings of Global Music. Thanks for sharing that!
