In 2009, approximately 6 of the 15 stores where I was consigning jewelry went out of business. Instead of trying to find other stores where I could consign, I worked very hard to build my wholesale business. Though I lost stores in 2009, I gained new stores. My business grew to 45 stores in 11 states because I pounded the pavement and pitched my jewelry to lots of stores.

As a handmade, jewelry artist, I find that is not only important to work diligently to grow my business, but also to provide employment opportunities. Below is my recent ad for sales reps, so that others can join me in "pounding the pavement."

SALES REPS WANTED

Pam Branch Designs, L.L.C. is a growing jewelry business, based in Marietta, Georgia, outside of Atlanta. Our line of jewelry is currently being sold in 42 stores and in 11 states. We are seeking self motivated, reputable, driven, and experienced sales representatives and jewelry showrooms to carry our line.

Pam Branch Designs' handcrafted jewelry contains both wire-wrapped and soldered pieces. Some designs are adorned with gemstones, glass, wood, resin and other materials. Other designs have no beads at all and are created with wire coils, filigree shapes and other sculptural designs. We would like to expand our wholesale business to stores and boutiques nationwide and internationally, so salespersons from all states and territories should apply. Compensation will be commission from sales. Applicants must have established contacts with store owners, buyers, merchants, boutiques, etc.
